San Diego

San Diego
San Diego has to be one of my favorite places to visit...so it's great that one of my best friends resides there. (So I don't really have hotel recommendations) The weather seems to always be a perfect sunny and 75 and when staying in Pacific Beach or PB you can bike everywhere!

There are a few spots that are worth hoppin in a car for...

Hotel Del Coronado
Located across the causeway from downtown San Diego is the charming town of Coronado. It is here that you can spend a great day of shopping, eating and beaching. Make sure you pop into the historic Hotel Del Coronado for some ice cream and to view the timeline of what made this hotel "Hollywood's Playground"

La Jolla
Just north of San Diego is the city of La Jolla which is inhabited by a lot of (stinky) Sea Lions. Along with dining and shopping you can cave kayak, surf, hike and snorkel...the activities are endless.

The Bay
San Diego is not just beaches they have tons of bays in the area where you can sail & paddle board. *Hit one of the many shops scattered along Mission or Fiesta Bay.

Balboa Park
A perfect day or two or many can be spent exploring Balboa Park. There is so much to do but highlights include the famous San Diego Zoo,  the Botanical Gardens, tons of outdoor concerts and multiple museums.

*Wine Night at Vin De Syrah: an Alice in Wonderland themed hidden bar located in Gaslamp District
*PB Shore Club for a frozen Red Bull Vodka and a night of fun.
*Biking the Mission Beach Boardwalk
*Walking the dog up at Kate O. Sessions Park- with some of the best views of San Diego
